Miles Glaspy has been actively working in the field of mental health for over 31 years.  Since 1984 he has involved himself in a career working to help people cope and remove barriers to self-esteem and self-actualization.  His work has been achieved in the therapy room, the classroom, on the board of directors for both The Montrose Counseling Center and Houston Body Positive, training volunteers for various nonprofit organizations, and being the architect and overseeing the much-heralded Houston Body Positive Peer Counseling Program.  Miles’ work has also included training, mentoring, and supervising graduate students and masters level social workers wanting to achieve their advanced clinical accreditation.

Miles Glaspy continues his private practice offering individual, couples, and group therapy to men and women of varied ages and cultural backgrounds.  He is experienced working with heterosexual and homosexual people, varied ethnic populations and honors and celebrates diversity.

He recently stated   “I believe in the power of people to change themselves and their circumstances.  My favorite part of the therapeutic process is helping people to realize their potential and am profoundly grateful for every person who has given me the opportunity to work with them.  I think of this stage of my life as the Prime Time for counseling and psychotherapy.  I still have great passion for the work and I bring all my experience in life and in the therapy room to the Relationship with my clients."
